MOORE, Oklahoma -Moore High School has been evacuated Friday morning due to a threat police are investigating.
Moore police said they asked for the school to be evacuated. According to Sgt. Jeremy Lewis, officers are inside the building, but have not yet found anything. Some officers are searching the school while others are investigating the threat.
Sgt. Lewis said it was "more than your typical bomb threat. It was more specific."
"This will be more than just evacuating the school. There will be an investigation into where the threat came from," Sgt. Lewis said.
The threat was not called in by phone, but Sgt. Lewis would not elaborate how it was made.
All teachers and students have been evacuated, and they are safe. Police are urging parents not to come to the school to pick up their children.  If parents feel strongly that they need to pick up their children, they can go to the Moore Central Church of Christ, according to police.
Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD is flying over the scene. Stay with us for updates.
